Do I need a mac to run android studio?

I downloaded android studio and the 32 bit java and it still says i need the java installation. What do I need to do to make android studio work?

Hi Nicholas,

You can use the studio software on OS X, Linux and Windows, the only requirement for Windows is you need the JDK (Java Development Kit) which you can download from the below link.

The only thing you need mac is to program in iOS . Other than that it supports all java etc.. theres a course introducing to programming that tells you a little of it or a lot depends how much there is this.
