Do I need PayPal with Simple PHP track?

I'm going through the Simple PHP track and not really interested to learn or use PayPal right now.. will I miss out by skipping that whole unit? Otherwise, is it worth making a dummy PayPal acct and still going through the process?

I think the Paypal part is not really important in PHP development whatsoever, however it is always good to know that common knowledge about Paypal, since you might be able to encounter it in the future.

I didn't know all this stuff about the tracking numbers and generated code, and although I don't need to use it, if sometimes I need to take care of this I will know at least some of that basic stuff.

Unless you really plan to make a business website that would use paypal, it is just a demonstration video. Really your call. When I competed that part I just watched along.

I think it helps, true if you're not going to be creating your own business it may not benefit you, but if you plan to freelance at all it comes in handy and makes creating business sites a lot easier, you can even use it on your own site as a way for clients to pay you. It doesn't hurt to just watch it.
