Do I need to understand animations and the accelerometer.before learning how to make a blog reader app?

Ive started on the Blog Reader app and I want to make sure I shouldnt wait for this track to get updated before I start learning. What are your your thoughts?

no you wont need to know that. it is an intermediate course though, but if you have done the Simple Android App course you should be fine
