759 PointsDo I need Xcode
I don't have a Mac and I'm using windows 7 so I can't get Xcode the way I was shown. Is there another program that I can use or a way to get Xcode on windows.

Treehouse Guest TeacheriOS development has to be done on a Mac. You don't have to use XCode if you're using writing Objective-C and don't need the Interface Builder, but it makes things a lot easier. You can't compile the code anywhere but on a Mac, though.

...or if you know any of the C# language you could look into Xamarin.
If you plan on getting into the iOS development industry though I would recommend inventing in a Mac.
Hope this helps!
