do { let secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); } while ( secret !== "abc123" ); if ( secret === "sesame" )

script.js
// Display the prompt dialogue while the value assigned to `secret` is not equal to "sesame"
//let secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");

// This should run after the loop is done executing
//alert("You know the secret password. Welcome!");

do {
  let secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
} while ( secret === "seasme" );
alert("You know the secret password. Welcome!"); // goes here ?

You're close! But you have a few issues:

  • declare (but not assign) the variable "secret" before the loop
  • then just assign (and not declare) it inside the loop
  • this loop is testing for equal, but the instructions say to test for not equal
  • check the spelling on "seasme" (should be "sesame")
