This is what I have and it worked for me:

.footer-nav {
  float: left;
}

.logo {
  float: right;
}

.footer-nav li {
  float: left;
}

.clearfix::after {
  content: "";
  display: table;
  clear: both;
}

Was this task 2? If so, I can't see anything wrong with your code. Maybe try deleting and re-typing that portion.
