8,095 PointsDo you need an expensive computer to be a Python Developer (Django/Flask)?
I'm borrowing a Macbook i5 with 4gb ram, but I have to give it back in July 2017. Can I use a cheap but new laptop, install Ubuntu, and still be a competitive Python Developer? Or would it be too slow for me? Please and thank you!

You can install Linux on Mac or Windows.
I have three computers that I use:
- A desktop computer (Mac)
- A Raspberry Pi
- A Windows laptop with Ubuntu installed
