Documentation about protocols mentions using "static"...

every time we need to define a property in a protocol. Why is that?

Hi Vassilis,

What the documentation is talking about is the difference between type and instance properties. When you want a property to be set to some value and to remain that way for every instance that conforms to that protocol (type properties), we use the static prefix.
