20,144 PointsDoes anybody else have that "Holy Python! How did I do that?!" feeling when they write code and it works?
So last night I was banging my head on the desk trying to pass a python test, and I just could not wrap my mind around it, so I (resentfully) went to bed.
I woke up this morning and started typing some code like a man possessed and low and behold it passed! And I actually understood it! It's like the code fairy broke into my house last night and smacked me with his/her/it's magic wand and presto! Somehow I woke up and just understood!
Anybody else experience this?

13,023 PointsThis happens to me so often it is ridiculous. I was working on an android app in class and struggling with Bluetooth for several days. I finally threw my hands up and just started pacing my classroom. After a few minutes (and a helpful "get back to work and finish it" from a friend) I sat down and started slamming out code, after a little while I had completely redone all the associated functions and structure, I clicked run and HURRAY it ran perfectly.
I believe distancing yourself from a complex problem allows your subconscious to work on it.
Goodluck! --Ricky

If I see the Python fairy tonight I'll mention your name. (..If I don't accidentally take them out with a blunt object first.)
