Does anybody know why I cant use " " in the python shell?

Works just fine anywhere else... even in the upper part of workspaces

Can you give an example? You can use "" in the python shell

Its kind of weird. I have been experimenting and when I am in the python shell and I press the ´ key or ¨ it just doesn't appear, as simply as if I didn´t press the button. . But if I change the language of the keyboard to Spanish ISO and press the ´key (that is in the upper number row) the ´ it appears. I mean it isn´t really a dela breaker as I can just change the language when I need to use it but it strange it just don´t work with the US Keyboard for me.
