Does anyone know how to install pygame in Mac and in Pycharm?

I am trying to install pygame in my Mac with El Capitan running. I was wondering if someone can help me do this and if it was possible to set it up in pycharm.

Hi Evan,

One way to install it globally is to use Homebrew like so:

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
brew update
brew install pygame

I personally like to have my dependencies incapsulated via virtual environment. So the first step will be to set up the virtual env If you need a reminder After that you will need to pip install pygame

In Pycharm go to Presences>Project interpreter and select the directory of your venv

Good luck and happy coding :)

thanks a lot! I finally managed to install it

Great! I wish you best of luck and have fun :)
