Does anyone know how to use Gridulator?

Hi,

I am on the basic build a website section. The video has told me to use "Gridulator" and copy it into a css file on sublime text.....unfortunately the video skips this (rather annoyingly) so for a rookie like myself, i am confused on how this is meant to be done.....?!

can anyone please help me??

Gridulator is how Allison created grid.css, she's alread done all of that work of converting the grid system into CSS stylesheets.

Now all you need to is download grid.css and link to it in your html.

grid.css can be downloaded as part of the project files, there's a link under the downloads section to the right of the video.

I dont understand how gridulator works. I understand how to link the grid.css into your index.html, thats fairly easy but how did Allison use gridulator

Ahhhhh - Nice!!

Great question - thanks.

I know I can get the grid.css file comfortably from the zipped project folder, but which is the original website I can download it off from?

Thank you, NM

You can't, I'm sorry to say.

Allison Grayce Marshall used gridulator a visual guide and then wrote the grid.cssfile by hand.

Thank you James for clearing this up to me.

It would be great if teamtreehouse provide tutorials to code grid.css from the downloaded gridulator's PNGs....

+1

That would be nice.

AGREED.
