Does anyone know if Email Developer jobs allow you to work from home?

Also, do I need Email based work in my portfolio or do I need to create websites instead?

Working from home really depends on what the company you are working for thinks about working remotely some companies likes it and some not so much.

Never really heard about a developer only being able to design for emails but I am sure that if you are able to show your work to an potential employers, they will have higher chance of choosing you as they can see your skill level.

I would recommend you to go after a front-end developer job (this means you have to be able to style websites) as I think the market is a lot bigger than email developer as most companies is probably setting a front-end developer to style the emails being sent from the customer.
