15,682 PointsDoes anyone know what happened to the plain old Eclipse text editor?
I had been using Eclipse to learn Java, and last week I accidentally deleted it. I tried to move the files back our of the recycle bin, but they were corrupted. Since then, I have tried to find the download again, but the only Eclipse downloads that I can find are the development ones. What I want is the simple, plain Eclipse that is not for development, but just for typing in code and seeing the output. If anyone knows where I could get the files that I used to have I would appreciate it a lot.

5,885 PointsI find them here. http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/?osType=win32&release=undefined
Is that not what you're looking for? Eclipse has several versions for different language needs. The first two I see are for Java and Java EE.
