Does anyone use the universal selector to reset the margins to 0?

Is it okay to use a universal selector to reset the margins, and then adjust the margin accordingly with CSS? Thanks in advance for any input.

No, don't do that — There's margins that you want, and you're better resetting on a case-by-case basis.

Better to do a CSS normalise — Try this — http://necolas.github.io/normalize.css/

Plus the * selector is expensive.
