CSS

does it or does it not accept width value?

In the video, Guil says that inline-block doesn't accept width values. The next thing he says is that he's going to set the width to 50% so it only takes up part of the page. Can someone explain this?

1 Answer

I believe inline-block is a display value. Then he is saying set the width to a %. Not the inline-block. Hope this helps.

selector { display: inline-block; width: 50%, } He sets it at 50% so no matter what the screen size, it stay at 50% and inline
