Does programming gets easier?

So i've done the python basics course 2 times and i am half way through the python collections course. I understand the concepts in the videos but when it comes to code challenges i feel totally lost, is this normal for a beginner or am i just slow at this stuff?

coding is like triathlon. It doesn't get easier, you just get faster.

Hi Josh!

Yes and no, while you will get better and start to understand those things you do not quite understand right now, there will be other problems.

What I am trying to say is, while later on you will understand the syntax better and know where to look if you get stuck (I work as a developer and I forget things all the time!), the problems you will go up against and how to solve them will be the hard part.

Feeling lost right now is totally normal, I wasn't a beginner when I went throught that course and I also felt a bit lost!

Good luck, I hope that helps.

Hi Josh,

keep at it. i has exactly the same feeling. when i thought i understood, challenges would come and my mind was blank. with programming finding a solution will always be a challenge, but with time, patience and practice, you will get better.
