Does progression save when changing tech degrees?

Hey! I'm currently on the full stack JavaScript tech degree, but I'm considering doing the front-end one first. If I swap now, would my progression still be there when I return to the full stack degree?

Hi Martin,

the progression for points and courses is always saved. Atcutally to the point that you cannot reset it even if you want to. You would have to create a new account for that.. ;-)

So you will never loose the progression you made.

For the projects you submit in the techdegree I am not sure if they will be saved but I am pretty sure they do. And if not it would not matter very much, because you save your projects anyway, right? So you could always resubmit the projects you have done so far...

Hope that helps,

Nils

Thank you for the response! Great to know that the points won't reset. I definitely save all my projects, so that is not a problem. I already swapped courses, and only delivered one project in the JavaScript degree. so it ended up not mattering too much for me anyway.

It would suck if I delivered multiple projects in the JS degree and they were all gone when I returned. Mainly because of the 7-day cooldown on handing in projects!

As Nils has already stated, when you've completed content, that content and projects that you've completed remain completed. As for the information you've created and stored in Workspaces, we highly recommend downloading a copy of that Workspace for safe keeping!
