Does the php track cover integrating databases?

Hi

I have a CMS system to write and I can't get the dev env (xaamp/mamp) to integrate with the sql db.

Is this an area covered by treehouse on the php track, or just in general?

Yes it does. You'll just want to make sure with xampp or mamp you start both apache and mysql from the control panel.
