Doesnt work. The styling

When i hover over the button, the menu doesnt display with styles, it displays as default. I copied and paste the header code ofmr the ifnal its the same, i even put the whole code fomr final and it still doenst owkr, seem outdated?

Is the stylesheet loading in general?

Is the page loading more than one stylesheet? If so, in what order?

Sometimes when I'm having trouble with targeting something I use something like this:

.gizmo{
display:none!important;}

If the thing I'm targeting disappears then I know I'm on the right track, if nothing happens then I know that either I'm not targeting it right, or there's a stylesheet issue.

I downoladed the final copy and it has some bug on mine machine . I believe some code is a bit outdated.

The fundamental PHP and CSS hasn't changed much in quite a while, and when I was doing this class it ran fine. The download files appear to be less than a year old.

If you'd like help with solving this I'd start by checking the things outlined above and posting some screenshots or notes.

The course was made on like 1 September 2014 xD

Is it possibile that something could go wrong because i installed the theme and all on my other account that i was learning somethiing else? and possibily get things corupted in itselfs?

For anyone stumbling upon this in the future, who wonders if the code is indeed outdated - works fine in February 2016. Check your own work, the video instructions are fine.

well, as of august 2016, not working for me either. styling won't show as no-bullet class for ul selector. WordPress has gone through many updates & iterations since this course was published in september of 2014. we're now on WordPress 4.6 and there have been many, many bug fixes and internal WP code upgrades. so maybe the course creators here need to give this course a review and update the course and video content accordingly? (cc - Zac Gordon). my suggestion.
