Why is there no help or key you can refer to during the challenges? its like if im confused on a challenge there is nowhere to quickly turn. and If i want to go back and look at a lesson during a challenge, it erases everything Ive done and I have to start at the beginning. what is the point of that? And is there away to get around this? Seriously making me think of leaving treehouse

You will quite likely find others who may be having the same trouble with the challenge you are facing as well as hints on how to overcome it. Once you have an idea how to address the challenge just switch back to he tab the challenge is on and complete it.

A good strategy would be to just open the lessons you'd like to peek at in other tabs of your Browser - this way you've got an easy way to always look up something from the lessons and don't have to leave your actual challenge (and risk to loose the steps you've already finished).

16,510 PointsHi David,
I do know what you mean, it is annoying if I lose the progress I'd made in a task.
I think the challenges are there to help test that you understood the lesson. If you're finding that you can't complete the challenges then it might be best to go back and watch the lesson again.
Another approach is to take some notes whilst watching the lessons, or type out the examples along side the lessons. Then you have something to refer back to during the challenges and the interactive experience is likely to help the learning process.
Or open up another browser session or tab and replay the lesson.
Personally like to download the videos as I watch them. I know I'm going to need to refer back to them again and I don't want to have to keep streaming them each time. Plus I can drag through the downloaded videos much quicker than trying to jump around the online one.

Treehouse Moderator 91,243 PointsIs there a place where you can download all the videos for the task rather than going into each and every stage and getting them individually? :)

50,595 PointsYou can download them via iTunes Feed "Download all the videos from this collection using iTunes. Continue watching videos even when an internet connection is unavailable."
Just go to the project site and you find the Download Videos Section on the right side under the instructors info.

16,510 PointsIf you look at the project overview page (the that lists all of the stages within a project and has the project trailer), then down under the instructor info is a download all option:
" Download videos
Download all the videos from this collection using iTunes. Continue watching videos even when an internet connection is unavailable."

28,298 PointsCan I download the videos directly on my computer with the link, when I watch? Itunes not work ...
Treehouse will knock on my door and pick up my harddrive?
I believe this matter should be clarified because iTunes does not work ...
