Domain and Hosting account

What is the differences between taking a domain and hosting from different source and taking it from the same source, since there are many provider who provide both?

There is no difference, besides customer service problems. I have always had GoDaddy domains and random hosting accounts. I personally like to keep mine separate for when I change hosting providers. If they are separate then you just point the domain to your hosting account and it takes only a few minutes once you learn.

You only need to know how dns works and your domain company will help or walk your through that stuff.
