don´t reload the whole page

Hey everybody!

If you watch a treehouse video, below the videobox there are 4 sections (teacher´s note, questions, video trans., downloads). If I click through, just the content below is reloaded while the video is still running. For which headline I have to search, to learn how to build that on my one page (selfmade with html, css and jquery)? Or is there even a treehouse section/video for that?

hey Richard Poiger , for your example with the tabs below the video it's actually a very simple javascript solution. the markup is already there and the tabs are set to "display: none;" - when you click on another one the style attribute changes to "display:block" so you can see it.

if you're searching for a general take on this on even bigger solutions like google maps for example (where the map is updating without a reload) a keyword for your search would be AJAX. (there's also a course on this here on treehouse in the javascript section)

hope that helps and have a nice day ;)

Thanks a lot! That´s what i am looking for!
