CSS CSS - Beyond the Basics Understanding CSS Transitions and Transforms 3D Transforms: perspective and rotate3d

don't really get the meaning of perspective value

body { -webkit-perspective: 800px; }

1 Answer

The meaning behind the perspective property is the perspective property effects the distance on the z plane and the user. Higher the value means more distance is from the z plane, with less effect. Smaller the value the less distance and greater the effect. I hope this helps.
