Dont understand whats wrong

Sorry guys not really understanding why it isnt working, any help is appreciated :)

Code: public class ConferenceRegistrationAssistant {

public int getLineFor(String lastName) { /* If the last name is between A thru M send them to line 1 Otherwise send them to line 2 */ int line = 0; if (lastName.indexOf(0) >= 'A' && lastName.indexOf(0) <= 'M') { line = 1; } else { line = 2; } return line;

}

Issue: "Bummer! I entered Anderson and expected line 1 to come up as A is before M"

Try using lastName.charAt(0) instead of lastName.indexOf(0)
