Python

double loop flask

Hi,

I have a problem with retrieving each of the courses taught by each teacher. I know it has to do with using another loop, but I cannot exactly figure out how to do it.

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask, render_template

from teachers import TEACHERS

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
def index():
    return render_template("teachers.html", teachers=TEACHERS)
templates/teachers.html
<ul class="teachers">
  {% for teacher in teachers %}
  <li> <h2> {{ teacher['name'] }} </h2> </li>
  <ul>
    {% for item teacher['course'] %}
    {{ item }}
    {% endfor %}
  </ul>

  {% endfor %}

</ul>

Jose;

Here is what Task 2 asks us to do:

Now add a new <ul> inside of the <li> with a class of "courses". Inside this <ul> loop through
the teacher's 'courses' key, creating an <li> for each course and printing the course.
  1. I don't see your new unordered list nested inside the ordered list.
  2. You need to create a courses class for your ul.
  3. Your courses loop does not produce an ordered list.
  4. teacher['course'] should likely be `teacher['courses'].

Post back if you are still stuck.
