13,600 PointsDownload the Treehouse video files in Microsoft Edge browser
Hi everyone
Bit of a random question but I used the Edge browser last night to do some training but I hit a stumbling block when attempting to download the HD video file. Normally I use Chrome (preferred browser is Firefox but there is an echo on the audio files) and right click on the High Definition link on the downloads page and click 'Save target as...'
There isn't this feature on Edge. Hovering over the link shows a 'download' tool tip which doesn't appear to be clickable. Clicking the link opens the file in a new tab but still no download option.
I got around it by having two windows open, Firefox and Edge and downloaded in the same way but was thinking that there must be a way to download the videos in Edge.
Can someone help?

I believe that just the way this browser behaves... I have tried downloading a video file as you said and it will just open it as a video player in a new tab.
Not to be bad, but I wouldn't use this browser if I were you, it's missing way too many features.
