Downloading course project files

I am new to tree house and wondered if you should always download the project files before beginning the next course? I followed Nick and was able to recreate the basic website by following what he had done in my HTML editor. When it got to responsive design I was so frustrated that nothing was working. I then came to realise there were a number of divs IDs and classes added to the HTML document from the one that Nick had created.

I know it may take longer, but does anyone agree it would be a good idea to build the whole site from scratch showing all changes they have made so you can build it alongside?

Hi Andrew Murphy,

Sorry for the confusion! That's a known issue and we're working on fixing it.

Before starting any project at Treehouse, I recommend you download the project files at the start of the course. This should start you off on the right foot and give you an idea of what you'll be building.

Thank you for your reply; that's great news. I am really enjoying the course!

I know the last reply on this is a year old but I am having the same problems.

Where do you download the project files? Specifically, I am looking for the finished site from "how to make a website" and the example code from "intro to programming" and "javascript foundations"
