So I download the project files for each HTML tutorial... however the index.html file inside these is already completed. Am I expected to start a new index.html file each time or keep the first one I created and keep adding it to the new downloaded files folder so it can find CSS/IMG's within the directory? Quite confused.

Python Web Development Techdegree Graduate 49,703 PointsWhen going into a specific lesson and watching the video. The downloadable project files are available and completed completely just for that section in case you missed something while following along. Mostly just there to review what was taught and to see how it was done.
But keep in mind the project files include parts you never seen get completed. So if you are working on HTML coding following along. The next section the instructor may have a bunch of new CSS styles applied to the page, but if you dont download the new project files you wont have these new CSS entries to style your page. Then your page will say the same thing but wont look the same.
So some of the project files you do need. So your project stays consistent with the instructors.
If anything what you could do is, download project files and unzip them into a different folder on your desktop or somewhere of your liking. Then going folder to folder, only move over the files or overwrite your current files that the instructor didnt cover. Dont overwrite the files he is covering in the current video, that way you can follow along and have updated javascript and CSS styles applied immediately when you save your index.html.
Example: If the instructor only was coding in index.html page, then overwrite all other files EXCEPT index.html. That way new javascript or CSS files will have the new layout or features applied when you change the code while following along with the instructor.

6,711 PointsAh I appreciate the response... I thought this but I thought it would be more straightforward than having to copy/replace certain files between each lesson like I was doing. Seems a bit strange but I guess I was doing the right thing. Thanks :)
