Im having problems downloading workspaces onto my Mac so I can play around offline. I click on the file option in workspaces and hit download workspaces and it comes up as a project (3).zip file that cannot be opened? Any suggestions?

What are you trying to open it with? Do you see any error?
IIRC, OSX can open zip files natively; try double clicking and extracting the content, then you'll be able to edit the actual project files with a text editor. Otherwise, you may want to try to re-download as there may be an issue with the zip file itself.
Hope it helps!
