Im using Dreamweaver CS5 and it keeps crashing on me. What should I do I've tried updating it and it still wont let me open the program.

The Adobe Forums are probably the best place for this if that's ok. I used to use DW for years my honest answer is get Sublime Text - you will be glad you did trust me.


Yea thanks I was using that for a bit but the trial ran out. Ill have to buy the license for that.

you can use http://brackets.io/ from adobe. It's free and open source. Very nice UI and workflow. Great code completion as well. Sublime is faster though.

Notepad++ (for Windows) and Text Wrangler (for OS X) are two good free options
