Dreamweaver CS6 or CC which one is better?

I wondered which of them is the most recently updated, or which of them has more and new features and most satisfying. I asked to one of the Adobe agent over the chat, and she told me that Dreamweaver CC is a new version, but I got the sensation she only wanted me to get subscribed to the Creative Cloud thing. Well, I would appreciate if someone can help me clear my mind about these two softwares. Besides, I'm about to start school, so I don't really know if I should give it try to the Creative cloud, or purchase the actual Dreamweaver CS6.

Hi Percy,

I very new to web design but personally I would go with create cloud and have access to all the other programs that come with it for example photoshop. If you beginning like me CS6 is very easy to use and does everything I need however I get it for free through work.

I don't believe there is a big difference between CS6 and CC apart from better visual editing capabilities where CS6 lacks a little in design view with HTML5 and CSS3.

I see, Thank you for the advice. I will try the creative cloud then.

Create Cloud (CC) is the newest version of the adobe suite whilst the CS6 is the 2012 version.

CC will have the most recent updates and higher level support.

However financially if you just want dreamweaver it is simply an outright payment whilst creative cloud is a monthly payment.

Search google for a free trial of CC.

CS6 is no longer receiving any feature updates, only bug fixes. If you want the latest and greatest, CC is required. As a student you can get a discount on it too.

CC is the current version, CS6 is no longer supported. If you're just starting out, get the free 30 day trial first rather than spend the £18 a month it is for a single app subscription. Complete Creative Cloud subscription is nearly £50 a month and they lock you in for 12 months.
