Dropbox.com

Hello does anyone know what type of site dropbox.com is programmed in? I love the look of this site and would like to create sites like it.

A good site to use is builtwith.com. Type in the website you want to know about and they give you a breakdown of the different parts used to make it.

In Dropbox's case the backend is performed using PHP in addition to the other things mentioned in the other post.

It just looks like they use HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery), if you look at the folders. I dont now much about AJAX, but they have called the JavaScript in a AJAX named folder. I think those are the subjects you have to deal with.

If you learn jQuery well, then you are a long way. However, learn HTML and CSS first. That is the foundations of almost all websites :)

Awesome thx! I actually took the how to build a website and the HTML class. I'll get on to the CSS course now.

Awesome ! Good luck :)
