Drupal Class: I am unable to get WAMP to work on my computer. Can I / Why can't I use XAMPP instead?
I've started the Drupal class and I am unable to get WAMP to work on my computer. (Windows 8.1 enterprise) Can I / Why can't I use XAMPP instead? Is there a reason WAMP is suggested rather than XAMMP like we used for the rest of the PHP classes?
You can use WAMP or XAMPP on any version of Windows.
Yes, you can. Bitnami will actually install it for you. I have not done it yet, but all you have to do is follow their instructions.
