"DRY way" solution.

My searchbar is working, but i used 3 different methods each of those was using different @RequestMapping annotation but all implementations were exaclly the same.

@RequestMapping(value = "/", params = "q")
    public String gifSearchHome(@RequestParam String q,
                                ModelMap modelMap) {
        List<Gif> gifs = gifRepository.searchByName(q);
        modelMap.put("gifs", gifs);
        return "home";
@RequestMapping(value = "/categories", params = "q")
@RequestMapping(value = "/favorites", params = "q")

There has to be better, DRY, way to do this.

What is the proper way to do that? Can i use whildcard in the RequestMapping annotation?
