Duplicate forums posts

This forum REALLY needs code to prevent duplicate posts. It's out of control.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease so when you see a problem with the forum send an email to help@teamtreehouse.com

The problem is very obvious and they clearly know about it. Step 2 is usually communicating the dissatisfaction as a group.

When you say "duplicate" do you mean posts asking similar/same questions or actual duplicates of posts/comments?

Actual duplicates. The problem is that a message or comment is posted every time the submit button is pressed so if there is a delay in server response, people will try pressing the button again (or possibly many times) until something happens. When I posted this I believe that one thread had been posted 5 times in a row lower on the front page. You can test it simply by pressing the post button twice when you reply.

OK, thanks guys
