Editing a WordPress Theme

I'm currently using the default Edin Theme I've been using wordpress for 2 days now so I'm mostly clueless. My site is garysondesigns.com In the end it needs to look somewhat similar to this http://i.imgur.com/j29ahB5.png

Major problem I'm having is getting the title to be above the header image. Not sure how css can solve this.

Fixed. Don't use a header image, Change it to a featured image.
