Email Hosting for a Client

Hi, I have recently made a site for a family friend and am hosting this on my shared hosting set-up. He's asked for an email address for his domain and I'm looking at the best way of setting this up. Was looking at adding an email address throigh c panel but have heard he may be better off with a seperate email host? I am looking at taking freelancing more seriously over the coming months and it would be good to know how other freelancers handle email hosting for their customers? Any advice about this appreciated.

If you don't know much about it I would suggest G Suite (from Google) or Private Email (from Namecheap). These are paid services that you can set up with your client's domain (it will be separate from your hosting).

I guess a service like G Suite is worth considering? You can set up an email address with that, and it’s very cheap per user per month.
