email link doesn't work

Hi, I have tried both my gmail and my hotmail addresses in this example but neither of them open up when i click on the link I have created on the contact page. Is there something I am missing here?

Thank you

<p> <section>
     <h3>Contact Details</h3>

     <ul class="contact-info">
     <li class="Phone"><a href="tel:0412305136">0412305136</a></li>
     <li class="mail"><a href="mailto:puglypolish@gmail.com">puglypolish@gmail.com</a></li>
     </ul>
     </section></p>```

I don't think anything missing here but i think you need some type of mailing software like outlook for your system through which you can access it.

I am a newbie so I don't know if this will make a difference but have you tried removing the </p> from your code?

This is how I have mine: <section> <h3>Contact Details</h3> <ul class="contact-info"> <li classl="phone"><a href="tel:555-555-1234">5555551234</a></li> <li classl="mail"><a href="mailto:charliefigtech@gmail.com">charliefigtech@gmail.com</a></li> <li classl="twitter"><a href="http://twitter.com/intent/tweet?screen_name=FigCharlie">@FigCharlie</a></li> </ul> </section>
