Email marketing - changing background color for fwds & replies

Hi guys,

If I hand code html emails and have a blue bg color for example when I want to forward that on or if somebody replies to it their message will be composed in the same bg color.

Is there any way to change this other than using #fff as the bg.

Are you saying that when an HTML email is forwarded, you want it to have a different background color?

The logic for classes to indicate if something is a forward, and the ability to use stylesheets in tandem with that, just isn't available.
