Embedding instance variable

Using an ERB template set up views/hello.erb to output "hello" followed by the contents of the @name instance variable.

hello.rb
require "sinatra"

get "/greet/:name" do
 @name = params[:name]
end
views/hello.erb

Hello

<%= @name %>

That worked. Thanks!

No problem :)

You need to put the <%= @name %> bit inside the p tag along with the "Hello" message.

Hello <%= @name %>

I hope this helps. ~Alex
