emulator error

emulator:ERROR:emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!

I installed Genymotion and it works far better and without errors. Try installing and using it instead of the default one built in with Android Studio. Here is Treehouse's video how to install it https://teamtreehouse.com/library/android-tools/genymotion/using-a-genymotion-emulator Good luck!

I know this is technically kind of cheating on a forum, but stackoverflow is a good rsource for programming questions. You can actually copy and paste your error message into google and there is more likely than not someone else asking about the same thing, and someone already answering. Anyway, you should check out this answer:
