emulator is not opening my app

hii... when i build my app in android studio it shows no error .. but when i run it on emulator it remain blank.. emulator doesn't start . i let it open for 3 hours but it remain blank . hoe it can be fixed????

Hello,

I have seen this a few times with the default android emulator. Some options you have are:

1) Try using HAXM and x86 emulators if you have an Intel CPU that supports HAXM. 2) Lower the screen resolution and/or RAM usage for the emulator(sometimes increasing the RAM also helps) 3) Install and use Genymotion. Treehouse has a video on it here.
