Emulator not launched

I successfully created an emulator and then when i try to run an emulator nothing shows up, not even the black screen The message box shows: Waiting for device. C:\Users\Raj\Downloads\android-studio\sdk\tools\emulator.exe -avd Android442 -netspeed full -netdelay none
