Emulator Toubles

Hello all, I recently started Android Development and it is going along well except for the fact that I can't seem to get my emulator to work. The problem is is that whenever I load the emulator and I unlock the screen it takes me the normal home page of the phone and not the app. I tried to create a new AVD but that didn't seem to fix the problem. What do I do?

Wait a least a few minutes. The emulator will go to the home screen before it launches the app, which takes a few minutes. Watch the Console window in Eclipse. I'll say something like "starting MainActivity" once it launches your app. As long as the console doesn't say the app is shutting down, then it's just the emulator's normal operation.

Oh okay i was able to do it. Thanks Ben!
