Pulling people together can be tough depending on the type of work you do but sometimes all it takes is a simple invite. I recommend starting by inviting people to sit with you or joining them. Don't get discouraged if they don't reciprocate at first, just be consistent. Along with that get approval to put on an event at lunch or start programming club...etc. There are lots of ways to engage with people, you just have to be consistent, smile and be a friend. You could even put on a demo of some of the programing courses on this website. Hope these ideas help.

Think that for a starter then after getting them to meet up is best. lets honest everyone is queit shy about meeting people they dont normally talk to. so need to get them talking first.

What kind of business is it? Are you in any kind of management position?
