Mr. Garcia;

I looked at your test site in both Firefox (31.0) and IE (11). Images for the sidebar items and the stars on the main body items do not appear in Firefox for me. I like your site, but in the opening statement there are some grammatical errors that, in my opinion, detract from the overall site.

Keep up the great work!

Hey mate, great website!!

I think the coloured sections of the first link work well. The "test" link needs some white space to separate the content a bit.

And if you are going for an image background the semi-transparent Instagram feed might not work.

I like the image background against the content that is placed on a semi-transparent panel as foreground, but it might need to follow the contrast rule of "simple foreground against busy background" or "busy foreground against simple background".

Maybe use text and simple icons when there is transparency, and add 100% opaque behind imagery sections.

But that is just my opinion :) and I really like the content in your folio!

Cheers =P

thanks I'm taking everything you said and implementing it on the final site. I understand what you said about the background feeling busy. what do you think if I make the background image blurred and putting the background to the main content darker so there can be a bigger difference between the background image and main content.

Also liked the typography makes it look really clean. I'm taking typography 2 next semester in school hopefully I can improve my typography... I just have a hard time choosing the right ones..

I like it! The transparency is there, but very subtle and there is more space to breathe throughout.. Great home page layout - and I like your choice of bold social media icons as well.
