Erroneous OS and keyboard layout assumptions

I'm currently following the Web Design path. In the videos, the teacher (the brilliant Nick Pettit) assumes that I use a computer running either Windows or Mac OS. He also assumes that I use a specific keyboard layout (US, I believe). None of these assumptions are correct. (I use Linux and a Norwegian keyboard.)

Would you please consider addressing this problem?

Get Windows or Mac and use a US keyboard. LOL.
