Hey Andres,

Have you set-up your wp-config.php?

yes, i tried configuring it, apparently it was not clear to me (and still not) why phpmyadmin lets me create a username and a password and they don't work to contact the database but when i create them with Sequel Pro (the mac app) is like if the password had no issues...

and it works normally

but yeah i solved it by creating the database with Sequel Pro

Were you working with MAMP? I work with MAMP at work and at home for WordPress development with no issue.

yes i do work with MAMP, at times just act like a noob and so i can't see my own nose jeje, sorry for that, but i solved it with sequel pro and have yet no tried with phpmy admin again, but i think its gonna work, in a different more complicated way but will work
