Hello! The name of the variable should be in camelCase. For example, you need to name your variables like this: petFood, pastTenseVerb.

Variable names are not allowed to have spaces in them, so the compiler is expecting ';' after each space in your variable name. So, you just need to remove the spaces from past tense verb and pet food:

String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter a past tense verb: ");
String petFood = console.readLine("Enter a pet food: ");

Thanks! :)
